ANTLER CREEK GOLF CLUBHOUSE
Falcon, CO
Meridian Ranch is a fast growing residential subdivision in Falcon, Colorado. As part of the neighborhoods attractions, the developer planned and built a 27-hole golf course with a golf club house. Design Edge, P.C. designed a 12,000 s.f. clubhouse building with a pro-shop, a restaurant that accommodates 150 diners, and underground golf-cart storage.
The design of the clubhouse is similar in style to the Colorado plains architecture of the area drawing its inspiration from the large open prairie that is the setting for the subdivision. Some elements of the design are tall clerestory windows that bring in light to all areas of the interior, full south facing window walls that look out on to the golf course and is an attractive setting for the restaurant dining room. Additional restaurant seating is provided by the trellis covered concrete patios
