This is a two story remodel that includes some building envelope upgrades as well as new HVAC equipment for the tenant space. The project received LEED Silver certification under the CI rating system. The space build-out consists of large Meeting Rooms, Open offices, Private Offices, Conference Rooms, Restrooms and Training Rooms.

To create a highly efficient and sustainable project, the project team considered various design approaches such as the use of recycled and locally sourced materials, designing efficient fixtures to reduce water consumption, and reduce construction waste through recycling.

The GSA plans to use this project as an educational and showcasing opportunity for future federal agency tenants at the Denver Federal Center. They hope to encourage other tenants to also pursue similar green building practices in their projects.
