Design Edge completed master-planning of this mixed-use infill project on a 11 acre site at the northeast corner of I-25 and Hampden Avenue for D.H. Friedman Properties, LLC. This highly visible site was once part of the old Englewood Airport and site of the first Marriott west of the Mississippi River. 4.15 acres along Hampden has been developed for retail space by D.H. Friedman. Design Edge completed the design of two multitenant retail buildings of 6,000 sf and one multi-tenant building of 7,500 sf. for the developer. The development is within close proximity to downtown Denver, Cherry Creek and the Denver Tech Center, and within walking distance of the Southmoor light-rail station. This, along with exceptional mountain views, and high visibility from I-25 and Hampden, makes it a very desirable retail location. The project has been designed to be pedestrian friendly and foster neighborhood connectivity.
